Always download Ledger Live from the official download page, never share your recovery phrase, and only use official Ledger resources for recovery and support. Ledger publishes security documentation and whitepapers about recovery options.

Recovery & backup

If you ever lose or break your device, your 24-word recovery phrase lets you restore accounts on a new Ledger device or compatible wallet — but never enter the phrase into apps or websites. Ledger also documents recovery procedures and an optional product, Ledger Recovery Key, discussed in their white paper.
